Sealpoint Computing has been trading from its Southsea premises since 1992.  It is a small family enterprise that has experienced all the trading difficulties faced by small businesses through the dot.com expansion and collapse of the late 1990s to the current financial upheaval since 2008.  It is now using the knowledge gained from the last 18 years to offer a practical approach to IT support and maintenance in small businesses that focuses on the priorities of keeping an enterprise trading when equipment and system failures occur.

Small enterprises are always driven by short term cash flow constraints so Sealpoint’s IT support service is offered on a monthly payment basis with a 2 month notice of termination period.  The costs of Sealpoint’s support are minimized by giving a 36hr remote IT support service across the internet at times outside normal working hours with on-site visits being confined to weekends.  Experience has shown that cost is more important to most small businesses rather than a very rapid response time.  The Sealpoint service is suitable for businesses with less than 10 employees and using from a single desktop PC up to a Windows Small Business Server system.
